Beastie Boys - MP3s & 1DJ

RIP Adam Yauch. The Beasties have been one of my favourite bands for the best part of 20 years. Pauls Boutique is still my favourite record, I know it inside out, every lyric, every sample, every goofy pop culture reference. Its hard to believe that this true icon of not just hip hop, but music & culture in general has left us. I did this mix 4 or 5 years ago and track 3 was the first thing I blogged. As my little tribute to the legend that is MCA I am uploading all 3 tracks, Its a mix of Beastie tracks & accapellas with other instrumentals and tracks from the likes of MF Doom, Kanye West, Talking Heads, Dr Dre, Aphex Twin & many more.
